What is LIVA Tourism?
LIVA is a digital tourism platform that connects travellers with verified tourism and hospitality businesses, destinations, experiences and services across Zambia. It uses digital technology and artificial intelligence to make discovering, planning and booking travel easier, so you can find and book verified travel experiences in Zambia and beyond.
Are the listed businesses verified?
Yes. Every business is reviewed and approved by the LIVA team before it goes live, so you only see verified options when you browse the Tourism Marketplace or ask LIVA AI.
Can I book directly through LIVA?
Yes. Open Book and choose Make booking (Client), chat with LIVA Booking AI to find verified companies, add the rooms and services you want, then hold or confirm your booking. You receive a LIVA reference number for the booking.
How do businesses see the bookings I make?
Business owners sign in and choose Book, then View booking (Company). There they see every booking made on their listed business, which rooms are held or confirmed, and who booked them.
How do I list my business?
Sign in and click Post business. Fill in your company details, category, province, district and area, the rooms and services you offer with their prices, and your photos or videos, then submit. A LIVA admin reviews and approves it, and once approved your business appears on the platform automatically.
How much does it cost to post a business?
Posting a business on LIVA is free. You only set the prices you want to charge for your own rooms and services.
Do I need an account to use LIVA?
Yes. Use the profile button at the top right of the site to sign in or open an account with your name, email, phone number and location. Your account keeps your bookings, your posted business and your messages in one place.
What can I do on the Zambia map?
The interactive map shows all ten provinces and their districts, national parks, game management areas, rivers, roads, museums, tribes, languages and ceremonies. You can switch layers on and off, search a place, use your current location and get directions.
What is Tourist Experience?
Tourist Experience is where travellers and businesses share real photos and videos of Zambian journeys with short captions. Each post is checked and approved by a LIVA admin before it goes live, and approved posts stay visible for 15 days.
What if LIVA cannot find what I am looking for?
LIVA only recommends verified businesses that are actually on the platform, so it never invents options. If nothing matches, try another service, another town, or check again soon as more verified companies join.
How do I reach LIVA for help?
Open Get Help or Contact Us for LIVA phone numbers and support details, and check your message inbox on your account for booking and approval notifications.
